In reply, Southern Brave Women fought hard through Annabel Sutherland’s unbeaten 59, but they fell just short, finishing on 134/5. Trent Rockets Women made an aggressive start despite losing Beth Mooney for just 2 runs. Opener Sophia Dunkley dominated the innings with a superb 56 off 33 balls, smashing 9 fours at a strike rate of 169.70.

World No.1 all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt provided excellent support with 33 runs from 25 balls, including 3 fours and a six, adding a crucial partnership with Dunkley.

Captain Ashleigh Gardner contributed 12 runs, while Sophie Luff managed 5. In the closing stages, Bess Heath played an important cameo of 18 off 11 balls, hitting 3 boundaries. Georgia Adams scored 1, while Georgia Elwiss remained unbeaten on 5 as Trent Rockets finished with 139/7.

Southern Brave Bowlers Keep the Rockets Under Control

Southern Brave Women shared the wickets evenly despite Dunkley’s attacking innings.
