Turning Point of the Match

The defining moment came during Trent Rockets’ batting innings when Sophia Dunkley and Nat Sciver-Brunt stitched together a crucial partnership, lifting the team after the early loss of Beth Mooney. Their attacking approach ensured the Rockets posted a competitive total of 139.

In the chase, Southern Brave looked capable of pulling off the target thanks to Annabel Sutherland’s explosive innings. However, regular wickets at the other end forced her to take most of the responsibility alone. The lack of support proved costly as Southern Brave finished just five runs short.

Player of the Match

While Annabel Sutherland’s unbeaten 59 was one of the finest knocks of the tournament, it came in a losing cause as Trent Rockets Women held their nerve to secure a memorable 5-run win in The Hundred Women 2026.
