Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 continues its impressive box office run, maintaining strong momentum even in its second week. The film, which stars Rishab Shetty, Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, and Gulshan Devaiah, has now collected an estimated ₹485.40 crore domestically and ₹674.5 crore worldwide, inching closer to the coveted ₹500 crore mark in India.
The film witnessed a solid second weekend, earning around ₹78.75 crore in just two days. However, collections dropped during the weekdays, with Kantara: Chapter 1 earning ₹13.35 crore on Monday, ₹10.5 crore on Wednesday, and ₹9 crore on Thursday. In Karnataka, Hombale Films — the production house behind the movie — managed to increase average ticket prices to ₹308 after legally challenging the ₹200 cap imposed by the state government.
