Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 Continues Its Historic Run 

Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 shows no sign of slowing down even in its fourth week at the box office. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film — a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara — stars Shetty alongside Gulshan Devaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, and Jayaram.

The movie opened with a massive ₹61.85 crore on Day 1 and crossed ₹337 crore within the first week. With ₹147.85 crore in week two and ₹78.85 crore in week three, the film has proven its unstoppable momentum. Even in its fourth weekend, it earned ₹25.5 crore, a rare feat for any movie.

Interestingly, the Hindi version is now outperforming the Kannada original, collecting ₹11.95 crore in the fourth weekend alone. As of Day 29, Kantara: Chapter 1 has amassed ₹600.72 crore domestically and over ₹818 crore worldwide, cementing its place as one of the biggest Indian films of 2025.

A true box-office phenomenon — and it’s still going strong.
