London Spirit got off to a steady start before losing Lhuan-dre Pretorius for 11 runs. Wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow then held the innings together with a fighting 56 off 43 balls, smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes.

However, the wickets kept falling at the other end. James Rew scored 11, captain Liam Livingstone managed 5, Dewald Brevis was dismissed for 1, while James Coles contributed 2 runs. Jamie Overton added 10, David Willey scored 1, Andrew Tye was dismissed for a duck, and Adam Milne remained unbeaten without scoring. London Spirit also received 8 extras, but the entire team was bowled out for 105 in 92 balls.
