Baahubali 2025: The Epic Sets New Records Before Release
SS Rajamouli’s legendary films Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) are returning to theatres as one grand experience titled *Baahubali: The Epic*. Releasing this Friday, the film has already created history — crossing ₹10 crore in worldwide pre-sales, making it the biggest-ever opening for an Indian re-release.
The remastered version combines both chapters into a single, seamless narrative, preserving the grandeur and intensity that made the original saga a global sensation. Baahubali 2025: The Epic follows the powerful story of two brothers — the noble *Amarendra Baahubali* and the ambitious *Bhallaladeva* — as they fight for the throne of Mahishmati. The tale later unfolds through Amarendra’s son, *Mahendra*, who rises against tyranny to reclaim his legacy.
The film has been *digitally enhanced and trimmed* to a tighter runtime of 3 hours and 45 minutes, with select scenes re-edited for a smoother flow. It will release across *1,150+ theatres worldwide*, including over 400 screens in the US, 210 in the UK and Ireland, and 150 in the UAE and GCC.
Known for its breathtaking visuals, powerful performances by *Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia, and SS Rajamouli’s unmatched storytelling, *Baahubali 2025: The Epic promises to be a cinematic celebration — bringing India’s most iconic saga back to the big screen in an all-new way.
